To purchase the PAPER version of the TKI, which requires you to score, graph, and interpret your own results, you must go directly to the publisher's website: CPP, Inc.

At the bottom of this page, you can place the ONLINE version of the TKI in your shopping cart. Once you click on "Add to cart," you can either "Continue shopping" or "Checkout." To complete your purchase, you can use your existing (or create a new) PayPal account. But you can also use your charge card as a “guest of PayPal” so long as you haven’t exceeded PayPal’s lifetime limit of $2,000, which PayPal imposes on every charge card that uses its “free” service. Since it can be a little confusing to use a charge card on the PayPal system, we suggest you follow our SPECIAL PAYPAL INSTRUCTIONS.

NOTE: Whether you purchase the TKI for yourself or for others, once assigned to a person's account, taking the TKI is not transferrable to anyone else without our prior authorization—as stipulated in our Copyright and Hold-Harmless Agreement.

Refund Policy When Purchasing the TKI for Yourself

As soon as you purchase the TKI for yourself, you have 90 days to complete this online assessment and download your TKI Report. Within 30 days from the purchase date, if you happen to change your mind for any reason, just contact us and you’ll receive a full refund so long as you have not yet completed the TKI. But we do not offer any refund, in whole or in part, once this initial 30-day period has elapsed or if you have already taken the TKI.

TO PURCHASE THE TKI FOR SEVERAL PERSONS (OR SOMEONE ELSE)

The price of the TKI for 1–49 persons is $39 each. The price for 50–99 persons is $35 each. If you purchase 100 or more TKIs, the price is $30 per person.

At the start of the purchasing process, you can enter the "Quantity" of TKIs you wish to order. Next click on "Update cart." If you entered 50–99 or 100 or more for the "Quantity" of your purchase, the total charge will be based on the relevant discounted rate. Because a "large" purchase might exceed the limits of your charge card or PayPal account, see all the Purchasing Options that we provide for your convenience.

After you complete your checkout, download The Spreadsheet for Creating Group Accounts, follow the instructions, and then e-mail us the completed file in the specified format—so we can create a computer-generated username and password for each member in your group. Note: If you are buying the TKI for only one person (for a coaching session, for example), fill out the spreadsheet for this one person.

Within 48 hours of receiving your completed spreadsheet, we'll notify each person that he'll have access to the online TKI as soon as he (1) has logged in by using his pre-assigned username and password, and (2) has accepted the terms and conditions of our Copyright and Hold-Harmless Agreement. 

Just so you know, establishing each person's username account and then notifying each group member of his new account at Kilmann Diagnostics can usually be done in much less time. Our "within 48 hours" promise to you takes into account different time zones, weekends, holidays, and large-volume orders.

NOTE: If you'll be conducting an educational program for several persons (or someone else) and you want to make use of their TKI results PRIOR to that meeting, ask them to send you a copy of their personalized report as soon as they have downloaded it.

Refund Policy When Purchasing the TKI for Others

If you purchase the TKI for someone else (for one client) or for several other persons (for a training program), the TKI’s 90-day expiration period begins when we import your KD_Spreadsheet. Within 30 days from the purchase date, if you change your mind for any reason (if, for example, your training program gets cancelled), just contact us and you’ll receive a full refund for any unused TKIs. But we do not offer any refund, in whole or in part, once this initial 30-day period has elapsed or for any group members who already have taken the TKI. For further details, see our entire Refund Policy.

Special Requests 

We are willing to handle some special requests that pertain to group purchases (which include preparing spreadsheets and reprinting lost TKI reports), but we charge a fee (or add a surcharge per TKI) for providing such extra services. Contact Us for more information about these arrangements.

MEASURING FIVE CONFLICT-HANDLING MODES

The TKI is designed to measure a person's behavior in conflict situations. "Conflict situations" are those in which the concerns of two people appear to be incompatible. In such situations, we can describe an individual's behavior along two dimensions: (1) assertiveness, the extent to which the person attempts to satisfy his own concerns, and (2) cooperativeness, the extent to which the person attempts to satisfy the other person's concerns. These two basic dimensions of behavior define five different modes:

Each of us is capable of using all five conflict-handling modes. None of us can be characterized as having a single style of dealing with conflict. But certain people use some modes more or less than others—whether because of temperament or practice. The TKI is a self-scoring assessment that allows you to find out about your overuse and underuse of the five modes.

The TKI assessment takes about fifteen minutes to complete. Interpretation and feedback materials help you learn about the most appropriate uses for each conflict-handling mode.
