Our ADVANCED course provides an in-depth and far-reaching understanding of the TKI, far beyond our BASIC course. For example, in ADVANCED Training you will learn how certain enduring psychological traits predispose people to use different modes for resolving conflict. Once you become aware of the connection between your traits and your modes, however, you’ll find it easier to use each conflict-handling mode as needed. In this ADVANCED course, you’ll also learn the ten key principles of group process and then you’ll learn the five steps of problem management. And finally, all these key principles and action steps are all combined in the Problem Management Organization, or PMO for short, which enables groups and organizations to resolve their most complex problems and conflicts.

Although you're not required to purchase the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (because you might have taken these assessments during the past few years and still have your results on hand), your learning to interpret their interrelationships will be significantly enhanced by having recently completed these two assessments.

TAKING THE OPTIONAL FINAL EXAM

After you complete this course, you can take the optional Final Exam as many as five times, since our purpose is to encourage you to learn the material—not to add stress to your life. Achieving a score of 88 or more points (out of 100 possible points on a twenty-five item, multiple-choice exam) will signify that you have passed the exam. Within 48 hours, you'll then receive your personalized Certificate for Advanced Training in Conflict Management. At that time, you can Contact Us if you wish to receive 8 CEUs.
